You forgot the most significant of the criteria. That is the sample period is conducted over the previous 6 months to 27th August (for the 2021 sample). The sample is on the closing VWAP during that period.
STX closed well above 30 and approaching 40 for much of that 6 month period. So even with the recent drop the average was much higher.
My calcs suggest 15-20m shares could need to be purchased to have STX as an appropriate weighting in the asx300.
This is good news.
