Like you, I don't believe there was ever an announcement by YAL that its 'free float' had now risen above 30 per cent.
However for the purposes of inclusion in the ASX 200/ASX 300 and so on, it's a precondition so one could argue it's a 'housekeeping' matter between a company and Standard & Poors Global.
