We officially be in the ASX200 from 23rd September. Initial bid for AngloAmercia coal assets should be in, but Anglo aren't expecting to wrap up the sale till January, so don't expect to much news out this side of xmas. I feel the ASX200 move is a strategic step in making a successful bid. I would expect any FIRB or other government approvals should be somewhat easier and if any finance is required, it should help negotiating a better rate.
I wouldn't be surprised if April/May dividend is also withheld to complete funding, but the dividends from late 2025 on wards could be HUGE
