Copper losses, transmit power over distance at at high voltage low current to save on resistance losses.
Then transform it back down to lower voltage higher current locally to consumer. Ohms law I believe is relationship between volts resistance and current, V=IR, but certainly related to power P=VI, for the same power increasing the voltage reduces the current and hence the copper losses over distance.
I'd be thinking order of KV too. Platform shoes at the ready.
