I think that it would be in the governments interest to pay or at least help to pay seeing as it is their property (railway) and takes 1,000s of semi's ? road trains of the roads. The destruction and maintenance to those would be much higher to constantly fix. The trucks have paid their registration entitling them to drive the route already.
It would be a much more environmentally better option to go with rail one would think?
After all this is one of the most import projects to get going world wide, and to be carbon neutral too is fantastic. it would also enable them to gain/ claim Greenie points for political reasons.
I agree with LovesMining with his statement above. All us long term holders that bought in at or around the $0.08c mark its wonderful news.
My kids, grand and great grand kids will be very happy too.
