The industrial plant in Adelaide I bet the Rann Govt is keen to see back in operation is located in Adelaide's southern suburbs, that is, Mitsubishi's recently closed Tonsley Park plant.
Mitsubishi exited late last year after announcing closure earlier in 2008.
It would be a boon for Premier Rann, one year out from the next election, to stitch some 'memorandum of agreement' with Carnegie...and as a local who follows politics here very closely I'd say approaches are likely --- but note this is definately NOT any insider view, just an informed speculation.
