There are 2 main manufacturers and distributors of asthma medication in the market - GlaxoSmithKilne (Ventolin) and Astra Zeneca (Symbicort). Teva Pharmaceuticals is a generics manufacturer and distributor. Astra Zeneca and GlaxoSmithKline are the behemoths in this space with GlaxoSmithKline selling product in over 115 countries.
