Sabre Resources kicks off drilling at Border lead-zinc deposit in Namibia
Sabre Resources (ASX: SBR) has confirmed that drilling has commenced at the Border lead-zinc deposit in the Ongava Project, Otavi Mountain Land, northern Namibia.
The two diamond drilling rigs on site are targetting: extensions to known mineralisation; strong geophysical anomalies 200m south of known mineralisation; and strong, broad geophysical anomalies at depth beneath known mineralisation.
Ongoing poor weather has not hindered access to Border due to track upgrades carried out by Sabre in 2008. Ground conditions on site are good. Results of the drilling programme will be announced as they come to hand.
