While in Bali last year we got talking to a couple who lived there. When you go shopping at the markets, you will get a different colored plastic bag depending on your negotiation skills. A black bag means you really screwed then down. A white bag means you paid fair price. A white/red stripe bag means they screwed you. As you move around, people can spot the suckers a mile off. If you get any red/white bags, get rid of them or you will get harrassed. Ask for a white bag if you see the red bag come out. And dont buy scratchies!
