Better to have an announcement on Monday or Tuesday, give people time to see the news and jump in. Friday announcements are usually bad, so that most people have time to digested it over the weekend and make a less emotional decision to stay or leave.
Hopefully well get a trading halt Monday or Tuesday with positive news.
