I was also disappointed by the Fiona Woods burns trial where numbers were very poor. I thought that the explanation given was of a surge in COVID numbers around that time. The restrictions on access and need for PPE and RAT testing makes ordinary care by staff difficult let alone for people conducting a trial.
Had a family member with 30% burns recently so it is very close to home. I counted 8 different IV infusions running on his first day so it is very intensive.
