• I think it's pretty difficult to conclude anything without the pharmacokinetic data (not sure if they will release this info until the end of the study.. perhaps they've organised a CRO to batch process once all samples have been acquired?) .. I hope it's not the case but the lack of side effects could also be due to rapid metabolism/excretion of the drug, leading to a very small therapeutic window..
• Before anyone jumps on my back, i believe in the approach the company are taking and hope the technology translates to the clinic.. It has the chance to change sepsis care (and potentially burns.. topical is always easier than systemic) if successful..
