I think there certainly will be more funds required within 2-3 years, but not necessarily (or probably) via CR's. it will be via JV's. I expect it to go something like this...
1. recon work - self funded, cheap and quick, 3-6mth duration - determine prospectivity.
2. straight to JV discussions - go to the neighbour, the big brother, etc with the plan and tee up a JV that allows for the by-in via exploration expenditure and resource KPI's.
3. repeat steps 1 and 2 for each prospect.
4. all the while working through PNG in the back ground.
Many tentacles are out there now and we only really need to hit with one or two - then we are off to the races. The beauty is we start to get the feedback in a couple of weeks, so let the fun begin!
