I'm glad the company isn't accepting low ball offers on SDV. It shows great courage and conviction to hold out. The market has been manipulated to hell by the banks, big oil and China lithium manufacturers. The Gangfengs of the world have been snapping up cheap assets left right and center at bargain basement prices. The board knows what is coming re the EV revolution and is showing great intestinal fortitude to not accept a low ball offer and this IMO is in the best interests of shareholders.

A lot of our debt laden or junior peers have had to accept whatever offer they can at this stage just to keep things ticking over. We are fortunate that we are in a strong enough financial position not to have to do the same.

Re the quarterly, it seemed ok this time around but I say this, pretty much every quarterly. Our Mount Cattlin cash cow is just a side show. It's there to provide a little bit of extra cash flow and gives us some more security to develop our other assets on our own. Right or wrong, this is how the insular and narrow minded analyst community 'marks' us and our share price reacts accordingly.

Sure, the sugar rush from a JV announcement would be great. It would likely make the share price jump a bit in the short term. But the real show is when the EV revolution gathers steam and the (perceived) supply unbalance swings around the other way. IMO, when this occurs, there will come a time where there will be a mad scramble for lithium assets/ M&A activity will be going through the roof. Ask yourself, would you rather have locked in our jewel in the crown asset at the bottom of a cycle or once the fireworks have truly begun! Patience will be required but IMO, it will be worth it!

However, jv negotiations started too late, AT failed to see lithium hype taking dive from its highs, he should have started early 2017 for jv partner search
