    I don't day trade or be a one pip wonder but I often trade my own investments to secure a better position in my holdings depending on news etc. I have my own rules on how much I take off the table, and it then frees up cash to buy more shares on the dips. Everyone's approach is different but in the end my investments are long term. I certainly thinned my portfolio pre market crapping itself thank goodness. I prefer bulk money into few shares but again some people prefer diversity. Happy days
