Agreed, you can't take it with you. Buying is always a strong bullish signal as it can only mean they expect the company to do well. Selling is a bit different as there are many reasons to sell, with the biggest reason being to enjoy the fruits of your success (which doesn't send any negative signal in relation to the company)
