OMQ has a capacity of 80-95ktpa Mn alloys + 300ktpa sinter ore. Given that it has not been operating since Dec 2021, I suppose the cost of production is greater than US$1,000/t Mn alloys. No point sitting on it waiting for Mn alloys to increase. Furthermore, China's domestic production is self-sufficient, and too competitive to make good margins there. Good that they cash out to reduce some interest expenses yet remain an eye on that market.
