Personally, I kick myself when I invest too early and the price drops, since I could have bought more, so I am worse off, so I failed.
Similarly I kick myself when I don’t invest, know I want to, then the price rockets and I only gain some of what I would have gained.
Both of these I have done many times, including with AXE (not currently invested but waiting to avoid scenario 1 and hopefully 2!)
To me that’s the challenge of investing - getting as close as possible to that perfect trade!
How hard the kick is depends on how wrong I get it of course!
(sentiment ‘hold’ as if I held I would not be selling and I intend to buy later)
