Well obviously the UG has just been a bottomless pit for too long. Ridiculous CAPEX and technical difficulty, putting them under the pump financially and operationally. According to DFS they should’ve been making $1k/oz by now.
On paper they are making a margin, but in the real world they've been going backwards for a some time. Why? For almost every other goldie the balance sheet reflects net profit fairly well, not RSG. Accounting wizardry cannot atone for mismanagement for very long, no matter how many assets you unload. I'll wait
