You did ask the question “Why even report this useless information and why not after DD is completed then it might actually mean something.” And I felt I should respond (being somewhat conversant in ASX rulings) that AMG must report/ make an announcement the moment a contract is signed in the sale of a company asset, whether it is conditional or not.
