Being "over the counter", there is no way of knowing "who" owns the notes.
My guess is that nominee companies are being used to hide the real owners.
We will, at least find the registered names in the 2021 Annual Report as under ASX Listing Rule 4.10, the top 20 CVN holders will need to be disclosed.
Not a bad ploy if you are a major superfund wanting to keep your coal investments away from prying ESG eyes..
