Here's an extract from the 1 April 2009 announcement by Cortona regarding expiry of the option agreement on 31 March with Barrick:

"In discussions with the Company, Barrick indicated that in the current gold price environment that it
had decided to pursue its 100%?]owned projects. Barrick however, also stated that it remains
interested in the future development potential of the resources at North Monger."
