Which begs the Q how does the market have advanced knowledge of what the NZCC is thinking. Unless there are government employees (or their spouses) who are into share trading.
There is always the potential of the Ingenico counterbid (remember they bought Paymark a while back). But again, that would not be public information and from what I know of SMP, they don't leak...
The market confounds me more often than not...
