Existing operations are generating good cash. The narrative will abruptly flip to criticising SFR for a 'lazy' balance sheet.

The drilling program at both Matsa and Motheo can't be accelerated by much - drill, review, adjust plan takes time.

M&A is tough, with all the big miners clutching wads of cash and ready to pounce on any Cu asset that makes sense.

Perhaps he will relaunch the earlier plan to build a CuZn concentrator at sorely-underused Magdalena.

I cannot see him content with steady state and (sorry, kingkwce) paying dividends.

I can't see sandfire developing black butte, I think a dividend is inevitable.
