I understand your point , take PDs situation he has to pay 1m plus to exercise his options.. he is a director paid by this company so unlike us as investors this transaction triggers a tax implications of (depending on the amount and your situation) around a 47% tax THIS ISNT AN INVESTMENT FOR ANY BOARD MEMBER so CGT is not applicable... So where to from here ,he needs to find 5-6m I’m ecstatic he didn’t just dump on market? This way they bring in Instos and satisfy the directors tax requirements and for us we are now invested in an institutionally backed company.
