yeah it's nothing out of the ordinary for these guys. Generally they are ahead of the curve though- they sold last year before a rough patch, bought this year before the SP reflected the growth, the fact they are selling now indicates the rally is overdone short-medium term.
It's a free bet for them- if the SP continues to rise they'll do more LTI options like a few months ago. If it falls then this was a great sell. Ruslan always wins!
