Yeah the remnants of previous Sun CEO Michael Cameron's marketplace strategy ie to become the Amazon of financial services is now just a ....very... distant memory. How many people got pinged as a result of that debacle...? In fact how many people got pinged to make way for it...? Quite a few people lost jobs as part of the incessant restructuring for one knob who thought he knew better... Suncorp's decision to stick to its knitting as a general insurer is a good one....imo
