Strategic alliance: An arrangement between two companies that have decided to share resources to undertake a specific, mutually beneficial project.
I think I read on here Itochu and AGS were in a strategic alliance, Itochu would provide the capital marketing and the know how to build a processing plant in the event AGS won back 100%. Why are they still in the picture? It looks likely they will get 14% for around 15 cents, about 7 million, what do they contribute in exchange for this sweet deal? Could you buy 15% of AGS on market for 15 cents? Farmeroscar suggests a buy back I would imagine that wouldnt be allowed while the valuation process for the Itochu shares is in process, it would be manipulation. If Itochu want Ace why not make a formal offer, its for sale. If they can buy Ace shares at the current values they would be fools not to. What are the shareholders getting for the dilution?
