My suspicion is so they dont have 40kt of unsold Spodumene Concentrate rocking up in Gaston County as per the original offtake. Cant store it at NAL.
Remember the offtake is priced to include delivery.
The port only holds 20kt.
I dont see the connection between the price and the cessation of supply.
Who would enter into an agreement where you are forced to buy something you dont need?
