I think your second point is on the money, it all adds up:
- ~$250M in cash
- $90M draw down facility
- Putonic sale??? +$100M who knows???
- issue 15% of capital and raise $90M (I don't mind a little dilution for the right reasons)
= $530M - a decent swag of money for an acquisition!
The fact that NST has no ambition of raising dividends and is looking to add more cash via the sale of Plutonic...smells to me like they have something lined up (probably already signed confidential first rights?) and are currently trying to minimise shareholder dilution and debt requirements?
