Gross margins account for costs just like ANDy62 mentioned for EBIT.
$9.2bn in sales at their 5 year average gross margin of 21.68% should yield FY 22 Gross profit of $2bn.
Although with improved gross margins in the year, it would likely be higher.

Just had another look at these results, tremendous.
Coupled with the buy back, this should go north of $50 in the near term.
Could be a record divvie announcement as well. Time to load up me thinks.
