Funding and offtake are a little on the chicken and egg argument. Off takes want to know you will dig it up and finance want to know you can sell it.
The offtake is more critical to lock in IMO. The offtake has fewer out of pocket expenses to attain the agreement and I f product is never delivered it's not the end of the world. Finance "needs" to know product Will be sold as they are putting the cold hard cash up front and without offtake they don't recover the cash.
So now WKT have the possibility of signing up an offtake that will de risk the funding considerably, but not until the paperwork is signed.
Interesting few months approaching.
