A naive question here so bear with me and be kind. And yes part 2 is a little negative but probably an indication of where my heads at at the moment -not EQR's fault either.
If the company ramps up to plan successfully, and say we are 2-3 years down the track with all targets being hit (revenue, market growth, operations optimized, etc) but the SP is still low relative to competitors and market expectations. To return value to shareholders 1/ what options do EQR have to lift the SP (do they care, everything's going well?), and 2/ is buying back shares and privatising (or similar) an option? My thoughts re the latter is they are kicking goals, possibly zero debt, why have the ASX and shareholder obligations to contend with.
Just want to run to ground some of "half empty" thoughts.
