Correct, but the 'someone' works for the commercial laboratory, not for PNN. Final assay esults are issued by a lab in a number of formats but they always include a PDF format 'certificate' which outlines methods, detection limits and quality control measures.
Reputable commercial laboratories are Certified/Accredited by external bodies to meet certain ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standards. The process includes regular checking of prep/analytical procedures to ensure reporting accuracy and precision.
