Seems to me NTL directors could not pump the share price with a major positive announcement like Bonanza (which could cause a price surge) AND THEN announce the Same Class Equity Offer (Share Purchase Plan).
That would be unethical in that it may prompt people to buy on the news, and then crash the price on them.
Correct path has to be announce the Same Class Equity Offer (Share Purchase Plan) AND THEN announce Bonanza upgrade. That way no one can claim they bought on good news only to then find their NTL was about to be diluted.
Have to say NTL better have some damn good news tomorrow or they will get no buy-in on the Share Purchase Plan.
Still think the news HAS to be good or they would not be following the current strategy.
