Buying on-market is great and all, but you are giving your cash to another investor.

Participating in the SPP (for the same price) means the company will receive the cash which they can then use to advance the project. In this case you also get free options.

It would be better if you could buy today *and* buy the max SPP ;-)

Maybe that's your plan, I don't know... I can't, I'm all in at the moment, and don't want to sell NTL to participate directly in the SPP :-(
