Being a non exec director, isn't his job to hold management to account?
Non-executive directors are members of a company's board of directors but are not part of the executive team, meaning they do not engage in the company's daily management. Their focus is on significant company decisions, policymaking and strategy planning.

As far as i can see the strategic direction is a go slow approach. He, at least, should comment on how BNL write their announcements and control newsflow because they are pretty dismal.

There really needs to be someone with Oil and Gas experience as part of their operational strategy.

Other questions:
Why hasn't Trent gone to the US and been on the ground? He is the MD afterall?
Who is on the ground that is actually employed by the company? This role should not be contracted out.

As Jerry and a few others have posted, look at GGE. They seem to just get on and do it and not procrastinate and/or react when a reminder comes on the calender there is an AGM coming up!.

Hopefully a few here have also voted NO for item 2 for Rinaldi's re-appointment.
