Do we know why none of the current silica sand suppliers process into flour in Australia? Cost.
If Bruce has some magical way to do what others have tried and it being cost effective I'd love to hear it. I've seen it processed in south east Asia, it's a energy intensive process for the grinding that is required and very specialised equipment to avoid contamination in the flour.
Like steel processing, I'd love all that sort of manufacturing back in Australia but our costs will never be able to compete with Asia
