I agree that $ 1.70 is cheap for GRY, they have a lot going on and their share price has moved between $1.55 and $ 1.90 for the past few months, but it's going to take a very long time for any real price appreciation in relation to their Tijirit project in Mauritania.
In relation to Redback they took many years to prove up their Chirano resource in Ghana and then they acquired the Tasiast project from Lundin Mining of Canada in August 2007. I think the real reason Kinross took over Redback was for their Tasiast project.
I've held Redback since early 1998, thanks Budfox, and now have a large holding in Kinross.
My point here is it'll be a long wait for Tijirit to have any real impact.
