It is interesting to note some of Ben's comments from his presentation at Noosa. I can't get satisfactory audio from the replays - any assistance welcome - so I have taken notes from the transcript.

Starting at 3.40 mins into the presentation he said - more or less!
(We need to make allowances for the computer transcript which has many errors, so I give you them too for your intrepretation if necessary - the crux of the presentation is clear IMO.)

3.40 " ... coming from a mining background, getting to port and getting to markets is key for all projects.

    3
.49 So Arc made the decision to buy, when it came up, the loading infrastructure at Mourilyan Harbour Bulk Loading Port.

    3
.56 So we've got two ship loaders, conveyors and full access to load (you know, one hole containers, whatever ? vague transcript ?)
(And the icons, a 100% of that infrastructure at the port of rail ??), 380 km from Sandy Mitchell site.
B Double access even, all the way down to the .... ?
    "

There followed talk of ML progress, with no known impediments, and that they have garnets, of high quallity for abrasives etc, then :-

8.35 "We've got a MOU for an offtake with Currumbin Minerals, they've been processing mineral sand related products for 70 years.

8.45 They've got a brand new Mineral Technologies plant and very keen to take a single source product ........ and we fit the bill.

9.34 We still obviously will be looking at a production profile ourselves - but this does give us flexibility,

9.44 And given that we've got the port infrastructure, we can load a handymax 40,000 ton shipment ...... very easily.

Ben went on to discuss the ease of mining, 12 m of sand from surface. No chemicals or acids etc. and the upcoming SS, PFS and ML in conjunction with a supportive government. He emphasized that the SS was due, and they hoped it would be available at this time.

I find the existence of the port infrastructure very positive, that used to be a sugar loading port, so the machinery etc would be above usual standard and reliable. I do wonder when AHK bought it, as they have other mines in the district west of Cairns !!

So now to the SS. GL all holders, any opinion I express above is mine only and not advice. DYOR.

And finally thanks to Ben and the team for the information. GL to them too.
