Looking at the context your interpretation of FAR being desperate to announce something to the market is drawing a very long bow and a very subjective conclusion to suit your narrative. FAR have been saying for some time that they were going to raise their own finance, had a placement that was contingent on the finance and were working toward that so that they could take FID and move the project forward. If you want to call that desperation then you are not being rational. If they hadn't made an announcement you would no doubt be even more extreme in your criticism!
BTW, you can read what you like when it comes to the share price but I don't expect any immediate uplift three years out from production and the market is not enamoured with small caps ATM, FAR is not alone there.
