The drafting, submission, revision and final approval of this plan and obtaining development approval was predominantly WPL’s responsibility and it was well over due.
We now have plan and development approval by the host country, this represents something tangible and certainly something potential financiers can relate too.
The focus is now on the other big ticket items, finance approval, PE resolution and FID. When these issues are put to bed we can then kick start development, commencing with contract award and the procurement of the big ticket items.
Let’s stick to where we are in the process towards first oil the next two weeks will probably fill in the blanks.
