Hi NTM what hurdles and hoops are you thinking of? THE JV has just purchase 1.FPSO 2. signed up for all the subsea work and 3. signed up for all the drilling of the wells. Those contracts are executed therefore biding and that is one hell of a financial commitment without making a decision.

The JV has approved Phase 1. for development you can't develop without a final investment decision, the WPL ANN just does not say FID but it states that the JV are financially committed to the development of phase 1

Now where is FAR getting its cash from, WPL did a deal with the government for a loan what has been happening between WPL,Cairns and FAR? WPL would not be committing to these contracts if it had concerns about FAR or even Cairns coming up with their share of the cash.

My bet is the deal has been done, we may not like the deal but at least CN gets to say she took FAR from being a explorer to a producer, but what she wont tell people is that the SH got screwed in the process
