GO (the shorter) you talk about FAR being shifty, dishonourable untrustworthy all traits of which you are very knowledgeable.
FAR Senegal had good reason to default and that was explained in FAR’s announcement, quote “the operator has been undertaking a program to rescope, reschedule and reprice the project in order to reduce capital expenditure”.
FAR awaits clarity suggests WPL have not kept the JV fully informed of developments. Hence the withholding of payment by FAR until they are made aware of what’s happening in this regard.
Is their any end to WPL’s arrogance not surprised FAR have resorted to this strategy.
