I see 1.2 billion dollars in new debt.
That means Santos is using over a billion dollars in cash! How do they have that amount of money in cash?
AND IF THEY DO HAVE THAT AMOUNT IN CASH WHY ISNT IT GOING TO SHARE HOLDERS???
Oh thats right - shareholders don’t matter! Only CEO/BOARD bonuses do. . . CEO bonus calculated on EBITDA - so it doesn’t really matter how much debt they have. . .
I’m sure Santos will sweeten this with a dividend- it has been long awaited just to to go back into more debt! NICE!
