You can't believe everything you read but most STO S/H would know the recent article,where a group of Fund Managers have sent the CEO of Santos a letter informing Gallagher ( six weeks ago approx with the Share price approx $8.00) that the company is worth 35% in a strategic asset breakup and feel it's in the best interests of S/H with it's history of underachieving and modest dividend.
Has Gallagher a fiduciary obligation to achieve Capital gains for S/H near to short term ( after $100 Oil recently ) not long term with the Blue Sky pitch .I have been looking at a long position here and interested in whether Gallagher is right and stay the course or split Santos up and create Shareholder wealth in 2024.
