With ACCC, blackout Bowen over and politics I am not sure there is anything simple about WDS and STO . I can see from WDS price change that it hasn't set them on fire it was worst kept secret that various funds thought STO was undervalued but STO hasn't performed to meet funds expectations so now they are trying 2nd pick and saying break up value is easier to achieve rather than running company.
I'll ahve a PNG and Alaska seperate company without the aussie content and stay invested as I think Aussie politics has killed 30% of value for STO and in world market the PNG and Alaska assets are work more without teh aussie political handbrake. I really hope Alaska season is a good one and same in PNG to churn out cash and stay out of Aussie energy policy reach.
