Govts can stuff up things so quickly just by posturing even if they never follow through. What has happened to oila nd gas in last 5 years has been crazy and is costing Australia billions in lost productivity where with low cost gas we could have created ore processing back onshore and later had transittion to converting to fully green technology in teh future initially by sequestration and then wind solar and battery all planned and set in correct proitions. Not on prime ag land, not in prime tourisim a or beauty spots etc etc. Australia is so @#%$#@ s with pollies travelling teh world signing more agreements
State and Fed govts need a good head bashing IMO for what thy are doing in Australia to energy markets onshore and offshore.
