Sorry guys but the NSW Minister for Energy and the Environment, Matt Keen has come out and said gas has no future in NSW.
He said it was cheaper to source energy from renewables and while interest rates are low the NSW Government should invest in solar and wind infrastructure which can be cheaply imported from China where energy prices make it much cheaper to manufacture components for renewables.
Matt Keen is likely to be the next leader of the Liberals in NSW, and is dead against any gas (unless sourced from LNG import terminals) or nuclear power generation.
