Agree with insaf, not in the same words precisely...(but my reply to his post didn't work).
Why would they do a cap raising immediately when the SP has got so much further to rise on news flow?
There was a time when due to market conditions, AZS had to do CRs when there was no lift in the SP and no valuation in the market for the assets we held. We had to do them for survival, and at a time when other exploration stocks were sinking into oblivion.
Times are changing, particularly with Oposura which looks to be a mine within 2 years in a valuable commodity.
I am betting Tony will be taking full advantage of the rises on the back of the forthcoming anns. Given the lack of urgency in raising funds with our existing balance sheet. That's simply good strategy. But I hope he's lining up a lot of interest from funding sources so they can watch the scenario unfold.
